About the BRIDGE CENTRE web site
The web site uses valid CSS coding and all pages have been tested.
- The pages have been given a pale (but non-white) background intended to help those with dyslexia, whilst retaining a high contrast for people who have a visual impairment. Layout has been achieved using CSS and local users may therefore override the site settings to obtain a more suitable visual environment for their needs.
- The use of tables and frames has been avoided.
- There is a flash sequence, but there is a link to non-flash alternative pages conveying the same information.
- There are links to some PDF files. Each time link is provided to the Adobe site where the free Abobe Reader may be found and there is also a link to where PDF accessibility tools may be found for those people with a visual impairment.
- The pages have successfully been tested for readability with a range of colour blindness filters (at http://colorfilter.wickline.org/).
- Links are presented consistently.
- All images have a text equivalent and links are labelled.
- Guidelines for producing pages about Gift Aid have been followed.
